Terms of use

The rules for using SmallBids and paying for a subscription.

Who we are

SmallBids is part of Prime Group Digital, the parent company of Prime China and SmallBids. Prime Group Digital is a South African-based digital solutions company ("SmallBids", "we"). Contact: info@smallbids.co.za.

The service

SmallBids collects publicly available government Requests for Quotation (RFQs) with an estimated value of up to R1 million and sends matching ones to subscribers by email. We are an information service. We don't represent any government buyer, we don't award work, and we don't guarantee that any RFQ is complete, accurate or still open, or that any quotation will succeed. Always confirm details with the issuing organisation. We don't prepare or submit quotations for you.

No free trial

There is no free trial. Buyer details, contacts and documents unlock once your first payment is confirmed.

Plans and billing

SmallBids costs R199 a month or R1,990 a year. All prices are in South African rand. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled, and we email you a reminder before each renewal. Card payments are processed securely by Netcash (Pty) Ltd. Your bank statement will read "Prime China". If a renewal fails we may pause access to full RFQ details after a short grace period.

Changing your billing cycle

You can switch between monthly and annual billing from Plan and billing. The new price applies from your next billing date. We don't charge twice for the same period.

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel anytime from Plan and billing. No further payments are taken and access continues to the end of the period already paid for. Payments already made are not refunded except where the law requires it.

Acceptable use

Your account is for your own business. Don't share logins, resell or republish RFQ details from paid areas, scrape the site, or use SmallBids to send spam or commit fraud. We may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from reliance on RFQ information, missed deadlines, or a buyer's decision. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell subscribers by email before material changes take effect. South African law applies.
